I would've liked this story more if the author had made an effort to draw a chubby girl. As it is, her proportions are a bit more realistic than the usual shoujo heroine - but still not even remotely chubby.
@ Cydric I had a similar experience back in university. One of my housemates was a skinny girl from Thailand, and whenever she had something like fried chicken, she would moan about how fat she was. You can imagine how that made the rest of us feel (!)

I know what you mean, my friend from Japan said she got fat, but I didn't see the difference. In fact I liked it that she gained some weight, coz she was like a stick.
