Ok you guys I think I got a grip on things now. Taking what i've learned before

Spoiler

-the plot as i understand it

and inputting the latest info from vol2 ch 4 that is to say

Odin=Odin, Nameless knight=Odin

Princess=nameless knight=Odin

demon lord=loki=nameless knight=Odin

the true mystery of the world becomes clear as day.

That this is all a metaphor for mastubation: Odin is the instigater of the self pleasuring naturally, the nameless knights are the actual act of masturbation, the strife of pleasing oneself. The princess is the climax the ultimate end that odin wishes to achieve, the goal all nameless knights strive for. The dark lord loki is thus frustration of not achieving climax, each time he gets close he just can't finish. All those nameless knights strive so hard to get pass the demon lord to reach the princess and when they do the princess is taken away again by odin renewing the frustration that is the dark lord.

This isn't Odin's trying to stave off ragnarok and save the world, this is just one man's deep and personal fight against impotence. That or he likes fapping to the edge and back building up to a massive orgasm.

I don´t care if I can only barely understand the plot the art by it self is more than enough.

My mind hurts. . .

ok now this is going over my head

Having reread from the ending of the previous season to now, it seems everything up to season two was some sort of divination; an attempt of Odin to look into a "what if", to see if things would go not only as he wants but as a way to see what comes past his own death. It is beginning to look more and more likely that Odin is attempting to create The Ultimate Demon Lord, with Nameless Knight in Season 1 just being one of the many outcomes.

Presumably the reason Odin is trying to look past his own death is because he knows it is completely unavoidable, it WILL happen. So he wants to know the outcome beforehand as he will never be there in person to witness it. Now, as to WHAT he wants to achieve is a total mystery.

Season 1 is more straightforward, in hindsight. The only thing I found unexplained was how the princess suddenly needed to die as well in order for the end times to be triggered. I thought the whole thing was on Odin's defiance.

Okay, I am so goddamn confused right now.  This feels like LOST all over again, like everything is being made up on the fly and then made to fit after the fact.  Well, whatever; the art still looks cool so I'll keep reading.

Maybe the author is just going on randomly and giving us crap.

Well, I prefer to not think that way.
It's interesting on his own way with all the easy and super cliche  stories, I kind of like something that is not so clear and unpredictable.

I think that we have different point of view.

Then explain it in a way I can understand. Cause if all you can say is "It's interesting on his own way", you're simply saying you like it to be contraian even if its garbage.

Because its overly redundant?

Personally, the only thing I understand about this story is that its trying to be smarter than it really is.

I don't know why you have so many problems with the story, it's so easy to understand, it's a loop nothing more nothing less, the second season seems about escaping the loop. What is a little confusing is the setting, nordic mythology + cyberpunk in a darker way of thor. Quite strange choice that make me question many things...

What is even happening? Like every time the author releases a new chapter after disappearing I have to re read the whole thing just to get a slight grasp of the plot line. Like why is this not as simple as Wake Up Deadman? I thought it was over with season one and I was like wow that was a roller coaster but now with season two the roller coaster didnt stop it entered a worm hole and now I dont even know what the fuu

Woo, new chapter.

Also such a chapter

is there any chance for the author to publish a "A Fairy Tail For The Demon Lord for idiots" so I can understand easily what is what?

amazing season 2, simply amazing, the story telling is simply amazing

So....odin?....

Yeah, Odin.

Just when I thought I understood what was going on this happens, I don't even know who's odin anymore, and what happened to loki?

Anyone can be Odin, that was pretty much established in the first season, when The Nameless One Knight took on the fate of a demon lord, and by that the fate of one as well.

It is not impossible, that The Nameless Knights are all the same, repeating an endless cycle of one becoming Odin, one rescuing the princess from the Demon Lord and Odin taking away the princess from The Nameless Knight, who proceeds to become the next Demon Lord, killing Odin, taking the princess away, and a new Knight claims the name of Odin, and... you get the picture.

Time loop?  o_O

It's been implied since season1

Spoiler

Time loop?  o_O

I feel like there is something lurking beneath the surface of this story, an existence that holds the meaning that keeps me here, reading this story.  Something about it holds me even though I barely understand whats happening, its a testament to the story telling and characters and the plot.  I feel meaning in the meaninglessness.

Just when I thought I understood what was going on this happens, I don't even know who's odin anymore, and what happened to loki?

From what we know of the somewhat whimsical author, isn't it quite likely that this confusion is simply because he's busy retroactively changing the plot in order to fit whatever new idea he's come up for the second season? :'p

Just when I thought I understood what was going on this happens, I don't even know who's odin anymore, and what happened to loki?

People! Please use spoiler tags when trying to summarize the whole series! Think of the new readers

Muninn had a growth spurt?

I think you're mistaking her with Puggin (the one whoaccompanied the Nameless One Kinght on his journeys in the first season)... Also, Puggin's a guy...

And also, in this story, changing bodies is not unheard of, because everyone is basically an android... At the very least, it's hinted quite a lot.

I just readed this. This is far better than Wake up Deadman. Simply amazing. The art is somehow a bit better , but the story and the way it is told is on entirely different level.

Muninn had a growth spurt?
