@ShaiHH: I hope it'll continue for a good number of chapters too! But I do feel that we're on the pathway towards the final arc. Not yet, of course, but getting there sure enough. It'll probably be a few years though, of course, but maybe not another 10. xD

 

@Evilnemesis: Maybe! I think I recall there being a scene with Hana and Arashi swimming together and looking like children, but I'm not sure if that was actually a flashback or not. I feel like Hana didn't have many friends as a child because she was always going to the mountains with her father (and had weird dreams like wanting to explore the deepest caves in the world, not exactly something a social person would dream up), and then Arashi was meant to be the 'King of the Sandbox', so to speak, quite a little gang leader apparently? But when he met Hana, he changed for the better. Tamura-sensei never makes it clear when they met, but they've definitely been together a long time, that's for sure.

I have a guess that they will either build villages based on their teams and propagate creating society..  There may be deaths but at the end the survivors will be able to settle down, adapt, and live their lives in this new world.

 

Or, . . I don't know. But eventually there'll be clashes of opinions once they all make it through the big reunion (if there's any). Hahaha! Someone will surely die, at least, I guess.

Oh I think it will still be 70-100 chapters till the end. Just a feeling that the midpoint is passed.

Unless they all die, this will propably have a rather open ending anyway.

I dont think its going near end, it most likely start of new arc about other shelter or something with team autumn and summer a.

Refreshing to see that the two lovers ( Arashi and Hana ) have a deep trust in their partner even without being able to meet, that's pretty rare for people their age. I forgot if their past is mention but considering their age they are probably childhood friends turned lovers.

 

It's been a while since we've seen Summer B, I missed the "boing" lady as well. All these strong and beautiful women in this manga <3 . 

 

Arashi already exposed the 2 outlaws pretty quickly, he knows his hana doesn't he ;P .

First time reading and I ended up marathoning this series for 2 days.
I personally love this author works, Basara was one of the best shoujo fantasy I have ever read, but this story is so overwhelmingly good. How can it not be in my favourite all time?

Her way of story telling, even with masive amounts of character, they flow incredibly well and all interrelated. Compare to other survival in a unknown manga, there was not far fetched plot twist being pulled by some mastermind. Nor are survival problems faced, dismissed after a few chapter. Everything learnt was cumulative. It still manage to entertain us, not destrupt the flow overall plot and constantly introduce the element of the unknown.

The amount of detail for each arc allows us to explore the many possibilites of living in a post apocalyptic world. Realism of life, controversial topics, human and nature ethnics, and ecological question raise, the essense of survival in a unknown world, all were present. The author had that ability to set the tone, mood and mindframe of each story. The character development is immense for each character, each of their feelings properly expressed in such a wide field.

Its simply astounding, howmuch this manga could connect with me, give me such range of emotions. The art showing overflowing creativity and thought, as well as intriciate woven environment. I've grown attach to these characters in my heart. It makes me feel all the things I've been learning was applied into this masterpiece.
I feel so alive after reading this manga and is deeply recommended to all

Wahoo!! We got our first reunion in a while and the seasons are changing, so there's going to be some added difficulty adapting, but gosh, this series never stops amazing me. I loved all the scenes in this chapter with the puppies running around. Every page is filled with life!

@Booster Team Summer A themselves were the ones who shunned Ango and Ryo in the end. Gengoro and Koruri was in disbelief, Ban was the first to decide not to follow them and Ayu was thoroughly disgusted. ^^;;

i like it, but i hate how they just distriminated against Ango and ryu, and nevber even tried to undrstand them, thy had it rough, and everyone else just got a free pass, to be there, and they seem to show absolutely no gratitude towaqrds being there or remorse for all the billions of people who died, all the other teams suck, Team Summer A All the way.
