As usual, this is torture.......
Sure it's a terrible decision on their part, but it is entirely their decision to make.
That would undermine and go directly against EVERYTHING Batoto stands for.
This is a site run by scanlators, for scanlators. Doing exactly the same things that the big bad aggregator sites that Batoto was set up to oppose in the first place would be completely self defeating, and a horrible idea.
Of course give any of the group notification of it and allow them to subscribe to the ad system to get their money.
It really makes no sense some group don't allow releases here or have long delay times when you can find those series instantly on other readers... at least here they'd get their income.
Really makes no sense to me.
I have my version from the Sakicow person's IRC chatroom (the details don't belong here and I don't see what would allow me to post it, just don't go imagining dramatic events guys, it's just about a misunderstanding and an abuse of big stick threats). And the Sakicow person himself clearly stated it was his version of the events he was giving, and it was perfectly possible that his view of it was biased.
Gah. Must find motivation and involve myself to ask
Though hearing the full and exact story from (preferably) a neutral 3rd party would be appreciated.
Quite the sad shit, seeing how it ended. At least, I publically retract what I wrote, I'm NOT blaming Sakicow anymore.
Ohwell, if they're gonna be like that then I'll go download the two series I do read from them, but be as abrasive as possible by never commenting or disabling adblock for their site <.<
